THOMAS S. MCNEILL, a native Californian, took a B.A. in history from U.C.L.A. and an M.A. from U.S.C. Except for a stint in the Army in World War II, he has been an educator and school administrator, being currently employed by the Los Angeles City Schools. He has an extensive collection of Western art, books, and ephemera, especially the work of Western artists and illustrators.
